This is one of the easiest weeknight meals in the Abstinent Kitchen playbook. It’s balanced, fast, and built on a foundation designed to keep you spiritually centered, physically nourished, and emotionally steady. This works especially well for anyone in recovery from food addiction.

Why Ezekiel Tortillas Work So Well In Food Addiction Recovery

Ezekiel tortillas have become a secret weapon for many of us because they support recovery on all three levels: physical, emotional, and spiritual.

Here’s why they work:

  • Sprouted Grains mean steady energy, not chaos. Sprouting changes how the grains digest. They hit the bloodstream more slowly, supporting stable energy and fewer cravings.
  • No sugar, no flour, no triggers. Really! Ezekiel products skip the ingredients that typically activate the addiction cycle for food addicts. That means a clearer head to stay connected to your plan of eating.
  • High in protein and fiber means real, grounded fullness. Compulsive overeaters often struggle with hunger signals. We either learned to ignore them or we learned to fear them. The protein and fiber in Ezekiel tortillas help restore a sense of normal satisfaction.
  • Ezekiel tortillas support the “peaceful plate” mindset. Instead of fueling urgency or emotional eating, they create a reliable base you can pair with abstinent toppings to build an enjoyable, recovery-aligned meal.

This is “clarity food“. The kind that keeps your nervous system calm and your recovery anchored in abstinence.

This recipe checks all the boxes: Crispy edges. Satisfying toppings. Quick. Abstinent. Sugar-free. Flour-free. Flexible for quick meals.

The magic is that the Ezekiel tortilla crisps up like a thin crust pizza. But you stay fully aligned in recovery, and maintain your abstinence. Win Win!

This recipe reminds you that food can be simple and joyful without the addictive chaos.
