Oven roasted salmon, cooked to flaky perfection!
Ingredients

- 2 salmon fillets
- drizzle of olive oil
- salt, pepper, herbs of choice
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Line a rimmed baking pan with parchment paper and set aside.
- Rinse salmon, and pat dry. Place skin side down on the parchment paper.
- Drizzle oil over the salmon and brush to coat evenly.
- Sprinkle with salt, pepper, and herbs of choice to taste.
- Bake in pre-heated oven for 18-22 minutes, or until cooked through.
Notes
Vary the flavors with this simple recipe:
- In place of the olive oil, brush the salmon with mustard and a squeeze of lemon; sprinkle with dill.
- Substitute sesame oil for the olive oil, brush with tamari sauce, and sprinkle with powdered ginger, and garlic, for an asian flair.
