- 1 dozen eggs
- 1 cup cold water
- splash of vinegar, optional
Instructions
- Place the metal trivet in your instant pot.
- Arrange the eggs on the trivet, balancing so that none are directly touching the bottom.
- Add 1 cup of cold water to the pot. Add a splash of vinegar, if desired.
- Close the lid, and seal. Make sure the steam release is in the closed position.
- Pressure cook on high pressure for 5 minutes.
- Let the instant pot naturally release for 5 minutes after the cook cycle completes. Quick release after 5 minutes.
- Transfer eggs immediately to an ice-water bath for 5 minutes, to stop the cooking process and make peeling easy.
