Air Fryer Steaks

Description
If you ever thought steak was only for restaurants or special occasions, this recipe is here to change that. Nourishment can feel luxurious and still be aligned with your food plan.
Ingredients
- Olive or Avocado Oil
- Salt and Pepper to taste
- 4 steaks (5-6 oz per steak)
- herbed or garlic butter (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the airfryer to 400 degrees F
- Pat steak dry. Brush both sides of the steaks with oil, then season with salt and pepper.
- Pleace seasoned steaks in your air fryer making sure to leave room around each.
- Air fry for 5 minutes, then flip the steaks, and air fry for 4-6 minutes more.
- Use an instant read thermometer to check for doneness (see temperature guide, below).
- When the steaks have reached your desired doneness, transfer to a plate. Allow steaks to rest for a few minutes to reabsorb it’s juices.
- Optional step: If desired, add a tablespoon of butter on top of each steak to enhance flavor while steak rests.
TEMPERATURE GUIDE:
- Rare steak 125 degrees
- Medium-rare 130 degrees
- Medium 140 degrees
- Medium well 150 degrees
- Well done 160 degrees
Notes
- We like to serve these steaks with a baked potato, and either a salad or baked asparagus.
- This can be BOTH an easy weeknight meal, or a special event dinner. Husbands/wives, boyfriends/girlfriends, and dads/moms will LOVE this!
- We like to make enough to have leftovers. This steak is absolutely delicious cut up in a salad with our ranch dressing the next day. A quick and easy meal!
